MAGNUM Tracing
Specially designed for industrial utility, MAGNUM offers you a wide range self regulating cables for frost protection or temperature maintenance. These tracing cables can be used for all types of pipe lines.
The unique specifications of the self regulating cables ensure the exact temperature input, necessary for precise temperature maintenance. Frost protection of a 100 metre water pipe, or temperature maintenance of a paraffin pipe line: MAGNUM Tracing offers a wide range of cables with the right specifications for each and every situation.
MAGNUM Tracing self regulating cables can be ordered per meter or per drum. Shrinking tool kits, power lines, pipe line sensors and thermostats can be delivered according the specification and length of the tracing cable. It is also possible to order the cables ready-to-use, i.e. with the power lines already (water proof) connected.
It is recommended to use the self regulating tracing cables in combination with a thermostat and pipe line sensor. If doing so the system will only be switched on when the ambient temperature drops below a certain level. This prevents unnecessary use of energy and will make the system more energy efficient and reduces the electricity costs.
MAGNUM Tracing can very easily be attached to pipe lines using aluminium tape or tie-wraps. MAGNUM tracing should always be installed in combination with (polyethylene) pipe line insulation (minimal thickness: 10 mm). This ensures optimal protection and insulation, to save both money and the environment.
